The Illiad – Poster/Advertisement

The challenge for this piece was to create a poster for an ancient work of literary art to be performed on campus. I chose the Iliad because I was reading it for an English class at the time.
I chose to incorporate the violence of the play into the theme of the poster by using red, black and white colors. The type also moves fluidly from one letter to the other symbolizing how the characters interact with one another throughout the writing.
